WALKING WITHOUT DARCY... (GRATUITOUS POST)

It's been a week since I went for a walk on the Precinct at Maleny. Last time with Darcy, this time, without. I thought of him when I passed this sculpture.  Life is back to normal... for us both!

FUNNY OLD DAY.

Move along nothing to see here.  Aunty Sandy thought I was up to no good.  I didn't even know the cat was there I tells ya!
We went to see one of her cousins and look what they had there! Two captive birds. I was a captive audience. But after trying to get them I was a good boy and as a reward....
Mum and Dad came home and surprised me! I'm going home! Thanks for looking after me Aunty Sandy.
Stay tuned for my adventures later in the year.

HAPPY EASTER!

It's Easter! No chocolate eggs in this house though.
We went on our last walk to the Precinct this morning, rain stayed away.
Two gals! Let me outa here...
Aaah.  Needed that drink.  Jolly nice of someone to leave this big bowl here.
Home for a nap.  The cat's snoring! Two more sleeps till I see Mum and Dad again.

WET, WET, WET!

Last night we practically had to beg for our dinner.  Doesn't she keep track of the time I wonder?
It started raining yesterday and has barely stopped.  This is the best way to deal with the weather.  Only 3 days till I see Mum and Dad again!

ANOTHER SMELLY DAY...

One thing Bruce and I have in common is our noses for food...
This is Toby, he smells too.
Half the neighbourhood out this morning, smelling stuff.

MONDAY ALREADY?

I hope this is not catching! This was the second body we found on our walk this morning. First we saw a magpie which was very still. Then this, a bandicoot, Aunty Sandy thought. Hope it wasn't the Easter Bilby.... Didn't smell like chocolate either.
We saw this scary weir too. The water was roaring. Apparently there was a platypus too. Big deal.
Doesn't take long for the weeks to roll around. Only a week till I see my parents!

SUNDAY, PEACEFUL SUNDAY.

Walked around town this morning and enjoyed a peaceful walk.  We didn't see one other dog or person until we were nearly home.
We went to that creepy place under the bridge to spot some platypus.  They're pretty boring. Just come up and go down, come up and go down.
I didn't even see one but Aunty Sandy saw three, here's one.  Very strange looking critter.
Today I met my other cousin, Kylie. She thinks I'm handsome too. But after she left I felt very tired. Nap time, peace out.

TODAY WAS NUTS!

Very quiet day since the long morning walk. Aunty Sandy has just been on the computer. Boring! Luckily I was so good (and cute) I was able to persuade her to take me on another walk to the park... First, though, I had to stare down this BIG labrador but once she ran off, out came the ball!
I'm ready, come on, come on. Throw it!
Hahah! Got it.  Over and over until I was very puffed.  After a rest we continued on. Aunty Sandy picked up a bag of nuts from under the trees. I hate those things.
She cracks them in a machine and they make such a LOUD noise and remind me of storms.  Grrrrrr.

IT'S HARD TO GET GOOD HELP!

Aunty Sandy apologises for not doing a post yesterday.  "Hard to get good help isn't it?" I said.  She was busy socialising half the day and night.
She managed to slip in a short walk in the morning (very steep steps but we made it) before her lunch date and again in the afternoon before her drinks with a neighbour.
The neighbour, Di, thinks I'm a good boy too...
Haha, Bruce had to stay outside for a change.
This morning we went for a longer walk in town.  I tried my dominance over this dog but he wasn't interested in playing.  We'll call it a draw.  We might get in another walk this afternoon, stay tuned.

NOT EXACTLY PARADISE.

It's been a funny day, rainy, sunny, cold, warm.  We did two short walks around the village, one this morning and one this arvo when I did a poo.  I liked this plant, Bird of Paradise even though it's not; paradise I mean.
This whipper snapper is Bobby from down the road.  He thinks Aunty Sandy is his but I showed him!
She was out all afternoon and is going out again tonight so I made sure he didn't get any pats from her!
When we got home, the cat was waiting, with a snarky comment. Stupid cat but I was very good and didn't bark so Aunty Sandy was pleased with me.  Tomorrow is another day.

LOTS OF NEW PEOPLE TODAY...

Strange day, got to meet lots of new people who LOVED me.  Isn't he handsome? What a good boy. Aunty Sandy took me to her ceramics class. The ladies there loved me and they all had food.  I hope I get to go back there again...
Oh, look! This box of pastry crumbs fell under the table where I happened to be waiting for just such a thing to happen!
 I love you Aunty Sandy...
I'd like to stay up and watch TV with you but <yawn> I'm very tired.

CHEWDAY... PART 2

I'm very sad. I won't be going on any long walks.  I'll still post photos but Aunty Sandy can't do long walks for a few weeks. It's very sad for me. Oh, and for her too. Maybe we'll go to the beach again???

CHEWSDAY... PART 1

So today we went for a nice walk first up. No long stops this time because ...  hee hee hee ... Aunty Sandy forgot to put the card in her camera apparently.  Lots of rude words. But when we got home she gave me a dental chew which was nice and if I'm a good boy I might get some more. Then she decided I could help her with the gardening.  There's a weed here that is making me itchy so she has to dig it out.  I enjoyed the sun too.
Just making sure everything stays on the tarp...
I really enjoyed helping but...
 ... it was exhausting!

76 GOOD PEES ON THE WALK TODAY ♫♪♫

 74...
 75...
76!!!!
Okay, maybe I exaggerated but, boy, I stopped a lot.  Seems fair. Aunty Sandy stops all the time and sometimes for ages.

SUNDAY, BARKY SUNDAY!

This morning's walk was a bit creepy to start with. Where the heck was she taking me??
We were under the boardwalk because apparently you can see something called a platypus better from there.
Oh look, there's one now!! I barked at it of course.
This very cute babe caught my nose along the way...
Then another weird place this arvo. Boy, there were some funny smells there! It was called a hospital! Aunty Sandy had to visit someone in there so I stayed out the back in the shade under a big tree.

MAKING FRIENDS!

I think I might make a good gardener...  I love this orange plant.
And this white one!
This afternoon I finally had a walk with young Charlie, the Spoodle (so part spaniel). He's not even two!
Of course I had to show him who was boss a couple of times...
...but we had a good time even though he didn't like my ball (which was good).
On the way home I met Molly, not my type though.
